Saxon Math is not flashy there are no bells and whistles, bright colors, or unnecessary extras. It’s straightforward, hands-on, and focused on actually learning math. It does require mom to be involved, especially in the early levels, but I’ve found that to be a huge benefit. There’s lots of practice and repetition, which helps build a really solid foundation and confidence with math. If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills math curriculum that prioritizes mastery over entertainment, Saxon is definitely worth considering! We enjoyed using this.
