The 6-8 units were incredibly disjointed. The high school units I used with my honors classes were more cohesive, but I still only used portions of the units, as some pieces didn't seem to fit.
For the middle school units, there didn't seem to be a logical flow. It threw in seemingly random lessons that were too brief and weren't tested. There were not enough formative assessment pieces, and the summative assessments were loosely tied to the texts, which caused significant struggles even for the advanced students.
We used the digital platform only. Perhaps the paper version would be better. However, there would still need to be more meat to the content for it to be effective.
